Die kleine Zeichentrickelfe Cirkeline lebt auf dem Tisch ihres Zeichners und schläft in einer Streichholzschachtel. Meist schläft sie jedoch nicht, sondern ist mit ihren zwei Mäusefreunden Ingolf und Frederik unterwegs und erlebt spannende Abenteuer. Richtig aufregend wird es, als Cirkeline in die Großstadt umzieht. Natürlich lassen ihre Freunde sie nicht im Stich, und so zieht das Trio in die Stadt – ein gefährlicher Ort mit durchaus angenehmen Seiten: Frederik trifft z.B. eine Mäusedame, die ihm kräftig den Kopf verdreht ...

The little cartoon elf Cirkeline lives on her animator's table and sleeps in a matchbox. Not that she has much time to sleep because usually she is out on her travels with two mice friends - Ingolf and Frederik - with whom she shares some intriguing adventures. Things get really exciting, however, when Cirkeline moves to the big city. Since she does not wish to abandon her friends, it's a trio that moves into town. Although a dangerous place, town does have its pleasant aspects. Frederik, for example, meets a lady mouse who simply turns his head...
