justify;\">Ruth Goetz wurde am 5. November 1886 in Oberglogau\/Schlesien (Polen) geboren. Sie besucht zun\u00e4chst das Oberlyzeum und legt ein Examen f\u00fcr den h\u00f6heren Schulunterricht ab. Nach ihrem Studium unternimmt sie zahlreiche Auslandsreisen. 1911 ist sie f\u00fcr Gaumont t\u00e4tig. Ruth Goetz arbeitet als freie Journalistin f\u00fcr verschiedene Tageszeitungen, sowie als Redakteurin f\u00fcr die Verlage Ullstein und Mosse.<br \/>\n1914 heiratet sie den Ingenieur Otto Bienhoff.(1) Ab 1916 schreibt sie ihre ersten Drehb\u00fccher f\u00fcr deutsche Stummfilme: Sie ist u.a Co-Autorin des Drehbuchs zu &#8222;Herrin der Welt&#8220; (1919; Teil 1-8) und des Dreiteilers &#8222;Veritas Vincit&#8220; (Joe May, 1919). Sie ist Verfasserin zahlreicher Romane und Novellen. In den 20er Jahren ist sie Redakteurin f\u00fcr den &#8222;Modenspiegel&#8220; in Berlin und auch in den 30er Jahren schreibt sie \u00fcber Modethemen. F\u00fcr die Heiland-Expedition nach Indien und China verfasst sie 1924 vier Manuskripte, dort sollten vier 5-6 aktige Spielfilme gedreht werden.(2)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mit \u00fcber 50 Drehb\u00fcchern und Manuskripten z\u00e4hlt Ruth Goetz zu den wichtigsten Drehbuchautorinnen des deutschen Stummfilms.
