H\u00fcbner?) erblickt am 5. Juli 1867 (1) in Gainfarn bei Wien als Tochter des Zuckerfabrikanten Max W. Wohlbr\u00fcck und seiner Frau Olga (geb. Ussow), das Licht der Welt. Ihre Kindheit und fr\u00fche Jugend verbringt sie in Russland und schreibt bereits als 10j\u00e4hrige kleine Erz\u00e4hlungen in deutscher, franz\u00f6sischer und russischer Sprache. Sie besucht das russische M\u00e4dchengymnasiums in Kiew und absolviert mit 15 Jahren die Reifepr\u00fcfung.<br \/>\nOlga Wohlbr\u00fcck f\u00fchlt sich zur B\u00fchne hingezogen, wie schon viele aus ihrer Familie seit Generationen. Sie zieht f\u00fcr drei Jahre zur Gro\u00dfmutter Ida Schuselka-Br\u00fcning nach Paris, um sich auf die B\u00fchne vorzubereiten. Ihr erstes Engagement hat sie 1886 im Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de l&#8217;Od\u00e9on.<br \/>\n1887 heiratet sie den Schriftsteller Maximillian Bern(stein) in Paris, ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter siedelt das Paar nach Berlin um. Olga Wohlbr\u00fcck entwickelt in Berlin ihr schriftstellerisches Talent, gastiert aber weiterhin als Schauspielerin an der Freien Volksb\u00fchne, dem K\u00f6niglichen Schauspielhaus und dem Residenztheater.<br \/>\nEs folgen Engagements u.a. in Wien, St. Petersburg, Frankfurt\/Main, Leipzig, Dresden, Breslau, Danzig und Amsterdam.<br \/>\nOlga Wohlbr\u00fcck wird Leiterin des Figaro-Theater und Regisseurin am Berliner Theater.<br \/>\n1913 schreibt sie das Drehbuch und f\u00fchrt zum ersten Mal Regie in dem Film &#8222;Ein M\u00e4dchen zu verschenken&#8220;. Damit ist Olga Wohlbr\u00fcck die erste Filmregisseurin in Deutschland, auch wenn es bei dieser einzigen Regief\u00fchrung bleiben sollte. Im gleichen Jahr schreibt sie das Drehbuch zu dem Film &#8222;Das goldene Bett&#8220; (R: Walter Schmidth\u00e4ssler, 1913).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Mehr<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><br \/>\nOlga Wohlbr\u00fcck arbeitet nun haupts\u00e4chlich als Schriftstellerin; sie schreibt Romane, Novellen und Theaterst\u00fccke. Ihre Publikationen werden in zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Rezensionen h\u00e4ufig als &#8222;neuer Frauenroman&#8220; diskutiert. Zahlreiche ihre Romane werden verfilmt. Bis 1926 ist als Autorin f\u00fcr die Produktionsfirmen Messter-Film, die Vera-Filmwerke, die Eiko-Film und Phoebus-Film t\u00e4tig.
