Dann absolviert sie das Postgraduiertenstudium Film an der Kunsthochschule f\u00fcr Medien K\u00f6ln. Ihr Abschlussfilm &#8222;Spots &amp; Stripes&#8220; wird mehrfach ausgezeichnet. Seither ist Almut Getto als Autorin, Regisseurin und Dramaturgin t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Mehr<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2001 erh\u00e4lt sie den NRW- Nachwuchsf\u00f6rderpreis in der Kategorie Film. F\u00fcr ihren erster Langspielfilm &#8222;Fickende Fische&#8220; (2002) erh\u00e4lt sie unter anderem den Preis f\u00fcr die Beste Regie auf dem Max Oph\u00fcls-Festival Saarbr\u00fccken und den Preis der Deutschen Filmkritik sowie den Deutschen Filmpreis in Gold f\u00fcr das Beste Drehbuch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ende 2009 kommt Gettos zweiter abendf\u00fcllender Spielfilm in die Kinos: Die Liebesgeschichte &#8222;Ganz nah bei Dir&#8220; mit Katharina Sch\u00fcttler und Bastian Trost wird beim Filmfestival Max Oph\u00fcls Preis 2009 uraufgef\u00fchrt und mit dem Publikumspreis ausgezeichnet. Im Mai 2009 erh\u00e4lt der Film zudem den Nachwuchsf\u00f6rderpreis der DEFA-Stiftung beim Filmkunstfest Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
