Fany, Tochter einer Blumenh\u00e4ndlerin ist mit dem Angestellten Fritz Jansen verlobt. Auf Empfehlung des Arztes Dr. Thielen wird sie einem Tanzmeister vorgestellt. Daraufhin startet sie eine Karriere als Ballett\u00e4nzerin. W\u00e4hrend einer Vorstellung bricht ein Brand im Theater aus und Fern wird vom Bildhauer Holger gerettet. Trotz Verbot des Verlobten steht Fany Holger Modell. Die beiden verlieben sich. Fany bricht mit ihrem Verlobten und heiratet Holger, doch das Gl\u00fcck ist nur von kurzer Dauer. Als sie ihren Gatten eines Abends mit einer anderen \u00fcberrascht, und er ihren Vers\u00f6hnungsversuch zur\u00fcckweist, stirbt Fany an gebrochenem Herzen. „Stoff sehr gut, Szenerie, Photos und besonders das Spiel prima.“ (Paimann’s Filmlisten Nr. 31, 1916).<\/p>\n
