Nadine: Manchmal hat man eine Melodie im Kopf, aber man kann sie nicht singen, man erinnert sich an alles andere, an den Augenblick, an dem man sie geh\u00f6rt hat, an jemanden, der dabei war, oder an ein Gef\u00fchl, das sie hervorgerufen hat, aber man findet die T\u00f6ne nicht mehr, man bem\u00fcht sich und kann sich nicht erkl\u00e4ren, warum es nicht funktioniert, wo es doch eine so einfache, eindringliche Musik war. Das kann qu\u00e4lend sein, nicht wahr? Dann kommt jemand und singt, und alles f\u00fcgt sich wieder zusammen, so da\u00df es f\u00fcr einen Augenblick eine Wahrheit gibt, die man verstehen und die man sogar ertragen kann . . .
\nNadine: Sometimes it happens that you remember a tune but can’t sing it. You remember everything else: the exact moment your heard it, who was with you or the feeling it evoked, but you just can’t sing it. Try as you might you just can’t understand why it doesn’t come to you because it was such a haunting piece of music. Frustrating, isn’t it? And then someone begins to sing and it all falls into place again and, for a moment, a truth exists which you can comprehend and even tolerate …
\nNadine: on a parfois une melodie en t\u00eate mais on n’arrive pas \u00e0 la chanter; on se souvient de tout le reste, de l’instant o\u00f9 on l’a entendue, de la personne qui etait l\u00e0 ou du sentiment qu’elle nous a inspir\u00e9 mais on n’en retrouve pas le son. On se donne du mal et on ne s’explique pas pourquoi on n’y arrive pas bien que ce soit une musique toute simple et tres charact\u00e9ristique. Cela peut etre aga\u00e7ant, n’est-ce pas? Et puis arrive quelqu’un qui chante et tout redevient clair. Et la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 d’un instant est comprehensible et m\u00eame supportable ..<\/p>\n
